Can I book dresses in advance?

You can book your dress up to 6 months in advance with a down payment to confirm the reservation and to make sure everything goes smoothly.

How do I return my dress?

Returning your dress is quick and easy. You can drop it off at the showroom after a maximum of two days from the event date.

What if I accidentally stain or damage the dress?

We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable if the accidental damage is minor. However, if the damage is major, we deduct from the insurance fee (that you paid for while reserving the dress) to cover these types of accidents. Please contact us if you’ve accidentally stained or damaged the dress.

What if the dress doesn’t fit?

No problem! We have a tailor who can do some alterations to the dress. We can size it up or size it down (For example, if the dress is size 8, we can size it up to fit size 10 or size it down to fit size 6)

How does your 'Try On' service work?

All you need to do is to sign in with your email and password, add the dresses that you like to the wishlist and fill out a booking form then our staff will call you to confirm the booking on the assigned date.

How much does it cost to hire a designer dress online from Posh Hire?

Our prices are very competitive - and come to about 25-35% of the retail price. See individual dresses for rental fees.

Are all the online designer dresses new?

All our designer dresses are either brand new or in near-new condition.

What is the condition of the dress when I receive it?

We have very strict quality control measures. All our dresses are dry-cleaned, pampered and preened after every use, so your dress will arrive in excellent condition.

Do I need to dry clean the designer dress before returning it?

No, don't worry about dry-cleaning - we’ll take care of that.

Does the dress arrive wrinkle free?

We do our best to ensure that every dress arrives wrinkle-free. After being steamed and pressed, all dresses are wrapped in a garment cover before being delivered. Certain fabrics are more prone to wrinkles though, and if you receive a dress with slight creases, please try steaming the garment on low heat. Note: please do not iron the dress as this may cause damage.

What if the dress is lost or damaged beyond repair?

If your dress gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, you will be liable to pay for the retail price of the item as listed on our website.
We know that this is a rare and unfortunate event, and rest assured, we’ll work out the best solution for you. In assessing the replaceable value, we will take into account: the demand of that dress in the market, the availability to purchase that dress in the market, the condition of the dress before you hired it, and the rental fee that you’ve already made.

How private is the personal information that I give to you?

The privacy of your personal information is very important to us. We will not disclose, rent or sell your information to anyone,

What if I reserved a dress and paid the deposit then changed my mind?

Unfortunately deposits are non-refundable when done. But you can switch the deposit to another dress (if available on the required date) for the same occasion.

Are these late fees if I return the dress late?

We agree with you on a return date that is within the 4 days allowance. However, if you do happen to miss your return date and send your dress back late, we deduct your insurance fees.
